TDA7496 Stereo Amplifier With DC Volume Control

Audio amplifier circuit shown here is a 5W stereo class AB power amplifier based on the TDA7496 IC designed for high quality sound, TV applications atau keperluan audio lainnya.

The power supply needed must deliver 22 volts for 8 ohms load impedance and 12 volts for 4 ohms load impedance . The maximum output power which can be obtained with this audio IC is around 5.5 watts on 8 ohms load with 10 % THD and 4 watts with 1 % THD.

Simple Audio Amplifier Based LA4460 IC

The amplifier circuit is designed for both symmetrical and asymmetrical power supply systems. An output power of 2 ´ 12 watts (THD = 0,5%) can be delivered into an 8 W load with a symmetrical power supply of ± 16 V. The gain is fixed internally at 30 dB. Internal gain fixing gives low gain spread and very good balance between the amplifiers (0,2 dB).

TDA7241 - BTL Audio Amplifier Circuit

Here very simple audio amplifier circuit can be designed using the TDA7241. this circuit require minimum voltage 14.4 volt and maximum voltage 18 volt DC. Max power output 20 Watt with 4 Ohm impedance. this circuit can use to Amplifiy the audio device.

The audio amplifier circuit is designed in bridge (BTL) mode configuration and will provide a maximum output power of 20 watts on a 4 ohms load. The maximum output power can be obtained using a 2 ohms load , in this case output power will be around 26 watts . Also you can use a 8 ohms load , but in this case , output power will be around 12 watts.

Note:
  • Use 12V - 15V DC for powering the circuit.
  • Fit the TDA724 IC to a proper heatsink.
